My daughter also showed her grandmother how to use the Wii to get on the internet. That was even funnier to watch than the bowling! You have to type in www. the address .com--no, you can't just put your email address, you have to go to the main website and put in your user id and password, you have to click here--no, here! Anyway, they finally got it and my mother experimented with email--but she said that she would much rather use a computer for that. I understand--using the "Wii-mote" for a mouse is not an easy thing to do!
