As I said before, I hate to waste gas and I would LOVE to drive less. Whenever possible, I try to combine errands so I only make one trip instead of two or three. Still, with teenagers who need to be many places, this doesn't always work out. When we finally move to Florida, we have focused on one particular area that has EVERYTHING in walking distance, and there is a great public transportation system set up as well. That is quite different from where we live now. There are many things I will enjoy about our new life after we move--saving gas, driving less, and living a life outside my car are things I am really looking forward to experiencing!
