Shoe Shopping

We all went shoe shopping together the other day--my husband needed some shoes and my son did, too. My husband has never liked my son's DC shoes--he called them his "bowling shoes" because he thought they looked like shoes at the bowling alley! My husband likes New Balance shoes, so he was a bit biased about brand names. I just wanted my son to get shoes that he liked and didn't cost too much. It all worked out--the salesperson convinced my son that New Balance had better support than DC Shoes. My son chose black New Balance shoes and my husband chose white ones. Get this: husband's shoe size: 12--son's shoe size: 11. Man, the guys in our family have big feet! My son sure is growing fast--he is about as tall as his father and may end up being taller. It was good to see them do something together--and choosing almost the same shoes in almost the same sizes was pretty cool! :)
