After shoe shopping, we went to dinner at On The Border. They have excellent Mexican food! I think our favorite thing is the basket of fresh tortilla chips--SOOO good! While waiting, my daughter and I played with my cell phone camera. We took some really cute mother daughter shots--fun fun fun! While we were doing that, a group of young mothers were also waiting nearby with their children. They were there for a casual baby shower--they were giving their pregnant friend lots of advice. I was immediately transported back to that time in my mind--how did it go so darn fast? One minute, your at your baby shower, the next minute, your "baby" is as big as you! These past 13 to 15 years have gone by so fast! One more thing I thought about--I remember feeling that I am glad to be beyond that stage. Yes, it was nice, but it was a lot of work. it was nice to be at a restaurant with my teenagers and not have to worry about all of the things that small children do in public places. I am truly glad to be past that--I am looking forward to the future--plus, I am going to enjoy the present with my teenagers. We have a lot of good times together! :)
