My teens seem to think that they have outgrown most Christmas movies, but they still seem to like this one. We all do! We can often be heard quoting the famous line, "You'll shoot your eye out!" We LOVED the cell phone commercial that was a take-off of this movie--instead of quoting the line, they said, "You'll run the bill up!" Every parent of teenagers understands this issue--teens want cell phones and parents worry about hugely inflated bills. That is one reason that the pay-as-you-go plan can work better than a "family plan"--the teens have to learn to budget their minutes, and there is no chance of being surprised with a huge monthly bill. I am with Verizon, but it would cost quite a bit per month to add two more people to my plan--plus, we would have to share our minutes. I'm thinking the pay-as-you-go plans would work much better for our family. More about this later--but the commercial always reminds me of the movie and vice-versa. We love lots of great scenes in this movie--it is definitely our family favorite! :)
