Yes--we did it--we went shopping on Black Friday and the weekend after Thanksgiving. I took my daughter and niece to the local mall--we didn't go early to get the absolute bargains, but we did hit some good sales. We did more "window shopping" than actual purchasing, but we got a lot of great gift ideas. It was fun being in the mall with all of the Christmas spirit around. The girls had a lot of fun--seems that looking for cute boys is best done at the local mall. :) I really enjoy doing things like this with my teenage daughter--bonding as women during "girls day out" activities--so much fun! :)
