I am way behind on this blog so I will make some brief entries to catch up. Before Thanksgiving, my teens needed to do laundry and pack for a trip to see our relatives. Our dryer recently began having problems--mostly it blows cold air and never gets warm--so laundry has been an issue. No time to repair it right now--plus, deciding if we want to pay to repair an old dryer or just buy a new one (something we don't want to do BEFORE moving)--so we are trying to use alternative methods to dry our clothes. It is amusing to see my teenagers' reactions to hanging clothes to dry--yes, it takes a long time and they aren't as soft as they would be if tossed in the dryer, but they do EVENTUALLY get dry. Sometimes we bite the bullet and take a few loads to a relative's house to dry, but I hate to do that very often. Finally, all of our clothes were dry and we packed for our trip. My teens are now completely responsible for packing their own things--it makes traveling a lot easier on me! :)
